More than 200 officers were on duty on Massachusetts St. during and after the KU Final Four game versus North Carolina on Saturday. Extra police force was brought in from surrounding areas to help keep the peace as fans celebrated the victory.

By the end of May, anyone with a KUID will be able to access wireless Internet from any building on the University of Kansas Lawrence campus. Last week all classrooms and public areas in Fraser Hall and Wescoe hall received wireless access.

In an expansion of a project that began in 2006, the Student Senate and KU Information Services are pushing ever forward on expanding KU’s wireless capability. The plan calls for increasing signal strength in areas and even adding entirely areas of connectivity.
