"Uns interessiert die Frage, wie entsteht intelligentes Verhalten und wie kann man das auf künstliche Systeme, Roboter übertragen und das wollen wir in gewisser Weise schon, dass die selbstständig Entscheidungen treffen, was sie denn jetzt machen."DW-TV: Frau Hafner, Sie beschäftigen sich mit künstlicher Intelligenz.Ich glaube das macht unheimlich viel Spaß, sich mit einem kleinen Robofisch in einem Fischschwarm zu bewegen, aber wozu braucht die Welt eigentlich diese Forschung? Verena Hafner: Ja wir sind alle sehr daran interessiert, wie Intelligenz funktioniert, wie intelligentes Verhalten funktioniert. Und das Schwarmverhalten zum Beispiel bei Fischen ist einfach sehr interessant. Wie funktioniert das, dass sich so ein komplexes Gebilde wie ein Schwarm überhaupt bildet? Und wie ergibt sich aus sehr, sehr einfachen Regeln einzelner Individuen ein komplexes Verhalten des gesamten Schwarmes? Es gibt Roboterfische, die noch von Hand bewegt werden, aber als Roboterbauerin werden Sie wahrscheinlich sagen, das können wir viel besser, wir können den auch so programmieren, das er sich selbstständig wie ein Fisch im Schwarm bewegt. Richtig? Genau, das ist unser Ziel. Aber auch die bisherigen Versuche sind schon sehr interessant, um zu sehen, wie reagieren denn die Fische auf diesen künstlichen Roboterfisch? Und der nächste Schritt wäre jetzt eben, diesem Fisch autonomes Verhalten beizubringen. Was heißt, dass der Robofisch sich an die echten Fische anpasst und je nachdem deren Schwarmverhalten folgt, aber teilweise eben auch seine eigenen Ziele durchbringt und so wahrscheinlich noch mehr anerkannt wird von den echten Fischen. Bei den Fischen wissen wir, dass der einzelne Fisch natürlich nicht besonders intelligent ist, aber als Schwarm zeigen die doch eine gewisse Intelligenz. Wäre das bei den Robotern dann ähnlich? Der einzelne Roboter ziemlich dumm, aber als Schwarm schon recht klug? Genau, bei den Robotern ist es genau gleich und deshalb kann man eben auch von Roboti...
