권선택 선진당시당위원장 “공천 4월 마무리” : 공천,권선택,선거,자유선진당,중도일보,지방,지영철기자ㆍ영상길이 : 01:31ㆍ등록자 : 중도일보ㆍ등록일시 : 2010.03.29 (09:02) 이재선 위원장의 사퇴로 대전시당위원장 직무대행에 임명된 자유선진당 권선택 의원은 “제2의 만세운동을 하는 각오로 지방선거에 임하겠다”고 밝혔다. 권선택 위원장 직무대행은 28일 시당사에서 열린 취임 후 첫 기자회견에서 “이번 선거는 정부의 세종시 수정 추진으로 만신창이가 된 충청의 자존심을 회복하는 선거”라고 규정하며, “제2의 만세운동 및 국권회복운동을 한다는 각오로 선거를 치를 생각”이라고 강조했다. 이날 권 위원장은 직무대행직에 대한 부담감도 나타냈다. <> 그는 “지방선거가 코 앞으로 다가온 상황에서 급작스럽게 직무대행이라는 중책을 맡게돼 막중한 책임과 부담을 느낀다”며 “선당후사(先黨後私)라는 평소 신념에 따라 직무대행직을 맡기로 한 만큼 시당위원장 사퇴로 인한 혼란을 최소화하고, 공정한 룰과 원칙에 따른 조속한 공천과 지방선거 압승을 통해 오만한 정권을 심판하는 역할에 충실하겠다”고 말했다. 권 위원장은 또 향후 공천 일정과 관련해 “당선가능성과 당 기여도, 행정 수행능력 등의 우선 고려와 부정부패 연루자·도덕성 문제자·자질 부족자 배제라는 중앙당의 '3가 3불' 공천 원칙을 잣대로 삼되, 외부 공심위원평가와 후보자의 공약실천계획서가 중요한 평가기준이 될 것”이라며 “1일부터 본격적인 공천 심사에 착수해 4월 중 모든 심사를 마무리할 예정”이라고 밝혔다. /이종섭 기자 nomad@
